Helping Hands

Sherwood Helping hands is a ministry of Sherwood United Methodist Church, reaching out to those who are hungry in body or spirit.  With the help of our members and countless volunteers from our community, we are feeding hundreds of hungry families every month. For more information on how you can offer a helping hand or if you are in need call 503-625-7975 or, visit the Helping Hands Facebook page.

With help from the Oregon Food Bank, local donations, and volunteers Sherwood Helping Hands extends support to families in need.  We keep all information confidential.

We encourage families who may be going through a tough time due to job changes or loss of job, economy downfall or just needing a little help each month to call us.  Everyone needs a helping hand once in a while!

Helping Hands feeds an average of 80 families every month. Food is available for pick-up by the families on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
